  7. SchwarzWald is a Type 1 Postscript Display Font that is extremely bold and
  8. striking, resembling the letters of a German woodcut. It's dedicated to
  9. Glummie, whose lettering it emulates (but doesn't equal!).

  11. You are welcome to install SchwarzWald, just drag the files SchwaWal and
  12. SchwarzWald.AFM into your system folder, and use the Font/DA mover (or
  13. Suitcase II etc.) to install the file SchwarzWald.bitmap into your system
  14. file. Take a look at it, print some out, have fun with it.

  16. SchwarzWald is being distributed as SHAREWARE. This allows you to try it out
  17. before you decide whether it's worth keeping. If you keep it and use it, The
  18. Author (that's me) requests that you pay him $10 by check or money order in US
  19. funds. If you are using it for commercial purposes, please pay $25. When I
  20. receive and cash your check, you are granted a license to use SchwarzWald (the
  21. Author maintains the copyright). If you don't like it, or don't feel it's
  22. worth $10 to you, drag it into the trash, or let your friends & associates
  23. take a look instead.

  25. You are free to distribute & upload SchwarzWald, provided that you keep all of
  26. these files (especially this one!) TOGETHER, ABSOLUTELY UNALTERED. Please
  27. don't sell SchwarzWald or use it as an incentive to sell something else.

  29. If you feel too lazy/cheap/busy to send me a check, imagine how long it takes
  30. to make and refine a typeface, drawn completely de novo (i.e. without another
  31. typeface as a template). Think how much you would have paid for a font like
  32. this retail. The more people respond favorably, the more incentive I'll have to
  33. make new and better typefaces, and support the one's I've made. The shareware
  34. concept works, making better computing for all of us. Thank you for your
  35. support, and enjoy the Font!

  51. & registration, materials, postage & handling. Above is a chunky bitmap
  52. rendition of some of the special characters included. EPS Art, for custom-
  53. tailoring the font, and a wide variety of bitmap sizes also included. Please
  54. specify that you want The "SCHWARZWALD FULL CHARACTER SET" with your check,
  55. and since I'm a one-man operation, allow me some time to get it out to you.
